Cold Callers - Limeslade area

Hello all,

Further to my message this morning, we have now had reports of cold callers aka ‘Nottingham Knockers’, attending addresses in the Limeslade area of Mumbles this afternoon. 

Nottingham Knockers are organised doorstop scammers who sell cleaning products at high prices.

· They can claim to be ex-offenders trying to make an honest living, providing a fake ID card.

· They may pressure you for a sale or become intimidating.

· They do not possess a pedlar’s licence to sell items door to door.

Please do not open your door or hand over cash.  It is your home, and your right to say NO!

Many residents feel intimidated and find it difficult to refuse a sale at their door.

Remember, it’s your property, it’s your choice.

Please report suspicious activity via 999 (emergency) or 101 (non-emergency).
